IIU, Germany discuss academic programmes

German academicians Dr. Ullrich Gunther of Senior Expert Services Germany as well as Dr Lars Bergmeyer of German Academic and Exchange Service (DAAD), Islamabad, called on the principal of International Islamic University (IIU) Dr. Muhammad Masoon Yasinzai and discussed the issues of mutual interest, comprising of the beginning of the new academic programmes plus the development of scholarship linkages among IIU and German universities as well as the other educational institutions.

On that occasion, Director of ORIC Dr. Abdul Hameed, Deputy Dean of FMS Awais Ijaz Khan as well as the chairperson of CIRBS Dr. Imran Khan, IIU, was also present. In the meeting, the guests notified the Principal of IIU regarding the German scholarship programmes and the mode forward for Pakistani educational institutions to build up the relations along with the German educational institutes.

They said that German educational institutes are so much interested in starting the joint academic ventures along with the Pakistani universities. The visitors said that the Pakistan is developing quickly in the field of education and German educational institutions together with the companies are very much interested in starting joint academics as well as the research based programs along with the Pakistani universities.

The German experts said that the research supervisor will welcome Pakistani aspirants for help in their research papers and the other educational projects. They said that the German universities has an extensive range to offer the scholarships, joint research activities Post Doc in various disciplines for the Pakistani aspirants.

Dr. Masoom said that the Islamic University is very much interested in starting the specifically split degree programmes as well as the joint research and scientific projects along with German universities, comprising of the seminars, international conferences as well as conventions.

He moreover said that International Islamic University is unique and the perfect example of co-existence, brotherhood as well as delivers the peaceful learning environment to the aspirants on the campus.
