Higher Education Commission to be formed in Sindh

Karachi, The Senior Minister, Sindh for Education & Literacy Pir Mazhar-ul-Haq on Tuesday has said that Sindh education department is resuming to build Higher Education Commission of Sindh and Bureau of Curriculum. It would be helpful to improve the quality education and to enhance the monitoring system directorate of monitoring and development here been started in all divisions and districts of the province.

While addressing a press briefing he said that standardized Achievement Test (SAT) will be organized to know the standard of the students and this test will be arranged for the students of class VI, who have just passed class V, and this text will be organized by IBA Sukkur. He said that Sindh Education Commission had been made to examine all sectors of education and audit would also be organized in education department.

He praised all participants on passing of STEDA Bill in Sindh Assembly and said that it would assist in refining teaching standard in the province.

He further said that for summer vacation a summary had been sent to Chief Minister Sindh to have summer vacation in July and August because of floods, rains in July, August and September occurred during last two years.

Minister education instructed all officials of education department to work hard to increase education in Sindh. He told that two wings had been completed in school side and new posts had been approved to manage the work load.
