Government Decides to provide discounted scooties to working women and students

Great news has emerged for women and female students working in both the public and private sectors. Now, they will no longer have to endure the bumps of buses and wagons, but they will be able to become owners of their own vehicles. The government has decided to provide discounted scooters to working women and students. This decision was made in order to facilitate women's mobility and to encourage them to participate in the workforce.

Good news has emerged that the federal government has taken another revolutionary step towards empowering women and making them active citizens in society. Soon, under the Prime Minister Women on Wheels Program, 22,000 women from all over Pakistan will be provided with subsidized scooters and motorcycles, with a monthly installment of only 4,500 rupees.

The National Commission on the Status of Women Chairperson, Nilofar Bakhtiar, stated that 5 billion rupees have been allocated for the implementation of the program, ensuring transparent distribution of the scooters.

As a result of Shahbaz Sharif's personal interest, the Women on Wheels project will soon be launched in the federal capital. Women between the ages of 18 and 55 can apply for the program.

Nilofar Bakhtiar, Chairperson of the National Commission on the Status of Women, revealed that funds have been provided for 22,000 scooters, and the distribution of scooters will begin soon, ensuring complete transparency.

She further added that Islamabad will also have 4,000 scooters, while Lahore and Rawalpindi will each have 1,000 scooters. This will be a three-year program, and if you earn between 30,000 and 150,000 rupees, you are eligible.

Nilofar Bakhtiar also mentioned that their efforts will be focused on benefiting employed professional women, female students, polio health workers, and women journalists so that they can contribute to the country's economic progress.
