Commonwealth scholarships 2013-14 begins for Pakistani students

Islamabad,  Commonwealth scholarships are being provided to Pakistani as well as international students at Master/ PhD, Split PhD degree level. The purpose of the program is to enhance the quality education, gender equity, cultural exchange, and equal opportunity to everyone. The scholarships are provided by the UK Department for International Development (DFID).

The selected candidates will be able to continue their studies in UK universities. All the interested candidates are required to submit the forms till Dec 03, 2013.

The scholarships will be provided for the whole course duration. All the students from Pakistan and other developing countries can apply for this commonwealth scholarship program. To guide the students every country has organized an agency for commonwealth scholarships. It aims to requests the universities to recommend the students for the award of commonwealth scholarships. A number of facilities and allowances are being provided to students under the scholarship program.

It is necessary for the student to start the studies in the United Kingdom by start of the UK academic year in September/October 2014. Respective candidates can contact to the nominating authority/ university of the country for the guidance of the scholarship. No direct application will receive by the CSC.

After the deadline the applications will not be considered.  The CSC will not accept the application which will not be submitted through the Electronic Application System (EAS) to the nominating agency/university/university body in candidate’s home country.
