Co Education Banned In Colleges of Punjab

A ban has been imposed on the co-education in the private colleges across the Punjab including Lahore. This ban has been imposed in BS honors colleges and the affiliation of that colleges will also be cancelled for violating this ban.

The Punjab Higher Education Commission imposed a ban in the private colleges all across the Punjab. It is the warning from the PHEC to the colleges that if they don’t follow the orders then that college will be closed permanently. There will be separate classes for boys and girls in the BS Honors program in different institutes of Punjab. PHEC also asked for the affidavits on the stamp paper from the private colleges of Punjab including Lahore. According to the report, boys and girls will not be allowed to study in the same campus.

Private college’s affiliation will also be revoked on violating the orders. The last date of submission of affidavit on the stamp paper by private colleges for BS Honors program is 28 February, 2022. This decision is taken for all private institutes all over the Punjab and it is compulsory for them to follow the order.
