Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) will soon swap over to a latest money-transaction system for payment of tuition fee to approximately seventy thousands tutors in the entire country, via wallet or credit card.

Slowly but surely, the same facility will also be available for its large number of pensioners. To properly launch the system, MoU will be signed along with the Commercial Bank this month, and Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shahid Siddiqui announced this during addressing an Iftar-reception that was held last night at the main campus of university. The function was equally organized by Academic Staff Association (ASA) as well as the Officers Welfare Association (OWA).

In the supervision of newly introduced system, payments of teachers will be accredited to the card that will be allotted encashment at ATM. This card will be issued to every individual separately and the faculty will be informed beforehand regarding their dues via text message.

The appropriate Bank will carry out the money transaction procedure with the help of an individual arrangement. The professors will able to apply for the Mobile Wallet either through their cell phone; internet or f2f. The credit card facility will also be available to those persons in the country. Dr. Shahid Siddiqui said this newly introduced system will save the tutors from botheration of gathering, placing cheques, and going to branch of the respective bank for taking out cash through cheques.

The complaints regarding loss or misplacing of cheuqes will get eradicated.this new system will also save the time of preparation of cheques, cost of cheque, courier charges as well as the consistent directly above cost.
