Punjab examination commission (PEC) is an authoritative body for conducting 8th class examinations. PEC is set up by the Government of Punjab for conducting examinations for 8th class in the Punjab province. It conducts exams for assessment of students by their schools and respective boards.
Punjab examination commission (PEC) started working in 2005. It is working for improving examination system of elementary education. PEC develops tests for the districts and administrators score the results and prepare the results for both public and private sectors.
Registration for class 8 examinations starts after summer vacations. Information related to class 8 examinations and registration can be downloaded from www.pec.edu.pk. PEC does not register any student in any case. Registration is done only by district education departments.
