The Dewa Academy has established itself as one of the most reputable educational institutions in Karachi and provides quality education and matching support to children with disabilities. Founded in 1975, it was in its early years primarily directed toward meeting the needs of the hearing impaired. Over the years, the academy diversified its services to meet a broader range of special needs. It is run under the auspices of the DEWA Trust which is into inclusive education and mainstreaming differently-abled persons into society. It is located in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi, and widely acknowledged for its achievements in furthering education and skills development of students with disabilities.

Programs Offered

Dewa Academy has multiple educational programs provided to the needs of its students. Intermediate students can opt for FSc Pre-Medical or FSc Pre-Engineering, ICS (Intermediate in Computer Science), I.Com (Intermediate in Commerce), and FA (Faculty of Arts). The academy consists of a well equipped auditorium where various educational programs or cultural events are conducted for the K.G and primary classes. The well equipped science laboratory is nice and not too crowded, providing for practical learning experiences by aiding some investigation into scientific experiments. Likewise, this academy enjoins extracurricular activities of various persuasions which include arts and crafts, different types of sports, and field excursions.
