1. Intention (Niyyah)

Begin by forming a sincere intention in your heart to perform Umrah. This intention should be made solely for the sake of Allah, reflecting your devotion and commitment to this sacred journey.

2. Purification (Taharah)

Perform the ritual purification (wudu) or a full-body ritual bath (ghusl) to cleanse yourself both physically and spiritually before entering the state of Ihram.

3. Put on the Ihram

At the Miqat (the designated boundary), don the Ihram garments. For men, this consists of two white, unsewn pieces of cloth, typically worn as a waistcloth (izar) and a shoulder covering (rida). Women should wear modest, loose-fitting clothing that covers their entire body.

4. Declaration of Ihram

9. Perform Sa'i Between Safa and Marwah
