Kalash Valley is an ancient valley in Chitral Pakistan where they celebrate different festivals and Ochal is one of them. Uchao is organized to pay homage to Almighty because of grapes and other ripe fruit. They prepare wine, cheese, corns etc. and rejoice Uchao.This festival is celebrated as a summer festival from 20th to 22nd August lasts for two days.
In the festival Kalashi women and girls decorate their houses and the ceremony is accompanied by dancing and rhythmical chant to a beat of the drum by
their traditional black robes, ornate cowries shelled head dresses and adorned with colored necklaces, dance in a circle.
