Intermediate Merit Lists in Pakistan Colleges and Universities

Basically merit system is the procedure of selecting the aspirants for admissions on the basis of their earlier academic record. The government colleges in Pakistan strictly follows the merit system however, the private colleges give some relaxation in this regard.

Usually the private sector colleges in Pakistan offer admission to the students on open merit however, the public sector colleges strictly follows the merit criteria.

All the government and private sector colleges in Pakistan open admissions at intermediate level soon after the declaration of matric annual exams result.   

All these colleges give some time to the students to apply for the admissions. After the completion of all formalities of admission, the government sector colleges across the country displays almost three merit lists with the gap of almost 5 to 6 days. In these merit lists the colleges displays the minimum marks at which the admission available to the students.

The colleges display these merit lists at their notice boards and the colleges also publishes these merit lists online.  

The admission notices issued by the government sector colleges after the declaration of matric annual exams result also contains the dates of displaying merit list along with admission details.
