Duties I Responsibilities:
Account Coverage Responsibilities:
  • To be primarily responsible for managing / developing relationships of respective Corporate Office along with portfolio diversification.
  • To continuously follow-up on various ailing borrowers regarding cash recovery/declassification, and maintaining working relationship with internal stakeholders (e.g. CMG, CAD, Trade, CC, Treasury, etc.) to improve business response time and turnaround
  • To act as Bank's and the client's "value-added gateway' by originating and delivering bank's products and services, drive account planning & management processes, deal pipeline management, and revenue generation from Banks clients & prospects of the respective Corporate Office
  • To keep abreast of financial market developments, including new trends in growth and management; strategic financing planning techniques; rationalizing and making efficient provisioning of financial services to corporate clients
  • To ensure highest professional standards of customer service is provided to bank's customers with an end to secure both new business and to deepen the existing business relationships
Business Development & Revenue Generation Responsibilities:
  • To work in partnership with other Business & Support functions of the Bank including but not limited to Asset & Liability products, Treasury Services, Markets Sales (FX), Transaction Banking Services including Trade Finance & Cash Management, and other lines of business, to develop, structure, market and execute client business and maximize returns to the Bank
  • To achieve the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) assigned in terms of asset book building. deposit mobilization, cross-selling including FX. trade finance, cash management, and other products & services offered by the Bank
  • To ensure stringent monitoring of Bank's exposure to the different industries lending portfolio, to manage delinquent accounts on a timely basis and ensure suitable remedial measures are taken to secure payments and the Bank's interest
  • To monitor risk effectively and keep abreast of market developments to ensure proactive or remedial actions are taken to maintain the quality of credit risk in line with the Bank's overall Credit Policies & Procedures
  • To allocate and monitor annual Key Performance Indicators of the staff working in this team in close coordination with the Group Chief & the Divisional Head- Strategy & Control Division
Other Responsibilities:
  • To review Credit Proposals compiled by the Relationship Managers & Unit Heads in the Corporate Office team to ensure its quality, accuracy & data integrity.
  • To observe Bank's Credit Policy and guidelines in order to recommend lending proposals to the Group Chief for onward submission to concerned committees for approval.
  • To ensure compliance with all Bank & Regulatory requirements (including State Bank of Pakistan's Prudential Regulations) and internal credit policies
  • To ensure timely training of Officers/Executives in the team to improve their professional capabilities and to provide them with the necessary office equipment to get their jobs done efficiently
  • To ensure that all internal controls and procedures pertaining to client base of respective Corporate Office are in place in order to mitigate any risks and to report any incongruity to the Head Office on a timely basis
  • To carry out any other responsibility as per SPM- 2008 (revised) and/or assigned by the competent authority from time to time

02 Reporting to: Regional Corporate Head - Faisalabad
  Educational/ Professional Qualification:
  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree from HEC recognized University / Institute.
  • Candidates holding Master's degree / CFA and I or any other diploma / certification in banking will be preferred_
Experience:
  • Minimum 08 years' experience in the Banking Industry out of which 05 years preferably in Corporate and / or Investment Banking.
Other Skills/ Expertise/
Knowledge Required
  • Sound understanding of Corporate Banking products and services.
  • Excellent Relationship Management skills and Credit related expertise.
  • Thorough understanding of the local corporate client base as well as regulatory regime will be an advantage.
Outline of Main Duties /
Responsibilities:
Account Coverage Responsibilities
  • Meet assigned targets in terms of customer portfolio yield including ancillary business generation, advances and deposit mobilization etc.
  • Manage key relationships with the existing and potential clients in corporate sector to leverage business; widen the portfolio to maximize overall customer risk adjusted profitability and share of business from each client/Group.
  • Develop business through marketing of structured products tailored in line with the specific requirements of the customers and cross selling of Banks other products.
Business Development & Revenue Generation Responsibilities
  • Introduce new corporate customers as per assigned target and make periodic visits to the customer's factory/site and submit call reports to the management.
  • Work in partnership with Transaction Banking Relationship team. Trade Operations Division, Financial
    Institutions, Trade Processing Centers, Trade generating branches, Regulatory Compliance Division to develop, structure, market and execute client business and maximize returns to the Bank
  • Effectively monitor risk and keep abreast of market developments to ensure proactive or remedial actions to maintain quality of risk in line with the Banks credit policies and procedures.
Other Responsibilities:
  • Prepare quality credit proposals including facility structure, industry analysis, company analysis. facility review, customer profitability analysis, financial analysis, spreads and projections etc.
  • Ensure that the highest professional standards of services are provided to Bank's corporate customers with an end to secure both new business and to deepen the existing business relationships
  • Prepare routine business call reports, offer letters, sanction advices and other internal and external
    correspondences as and when required
  • Guide, train, develop and motivate a team of Relationship Managers to attain business objectives, improve the quality of credit assessment, creating a learning environment and assess their training needs
  • Ensure compliance with all Regulators (including State Bank of Pakistan's Prudential Regulations) and internal (including credit policies) requirements

  Educational/ Professional Qualification:

Outline of Main Duties / Responsibilities:
  • Organize, coordinate and assist in the management of Group's workforce
  • Coordinate with Line Managers. Regional Corporate Heads and /or Divisional Heads for current and prospective staffing requirements, prepare and arrange staff requirement for internal & external advertisements.
  • Execute and administer orientation for new incumbents including Bank's policies and procedures, employee benefit corporate governance, code of conduct and regulatory compliance procedures etc.
  • Organize, coordinate and provide assistance on employee's recognition and engagement programs such as annual off-sites
  • Organize and/or co-ordinate training for staff
  • Coordinate with concerned managers and employees for roll out of performance management programs and conduct awareness sessions
  • Co-ordinate and execute employees transfers and rotations as per Bank's policy
  • Prepare various analysis, evaluation reports and presentations about performance of HR operations
  • Manage and maintain human resources information and related records system (MIS)
  • Carry out any other responsibility assigned by the Departmental Head/Divisional Head from time to time
