Pakistan Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (PCSIR) is a well reputed and largest R&D organization working under Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of Pakistan. PCSIR is inviting applications from experienced, qualified and dedicated candidates for the following posts in its PSDP Project titled "Data Repository of Scientific Instrumentation" purely on project based positions.

  • Ph.D. degree in Natural Sciences from HEC recognized University/ Institution.
  • At least 10 years post qualification experience in a well reputed public sector organization (preferably R&D) having sound knowledge of Project Evaluation, Implementation & Monitoring.
  • Candidate having experience in scientific database development/ inventory management system will be given preference.
  • Must have excellent leadership, communication, analytical and planning skills
2 Scientific Officer/ Junior Engineer (02 Nos.) PPS-08 Rs.125,000/- per month
  • M.Sc. in Natural Sciences or BE (Chemical or Industrial) from HEC or PEC recognized University/ Institution. Candidate must have valid PEC registration in case of an Engineer.
  • 05 years post qualification experience in a well reputed public sector organization (preferably R&D) having sound knowledge of Project Evaluation, Implementation & Monitoring in the Odd of natural sciences/ engineering.
  • Must have excellent leadership, communication, analytical and planning skills.
3 Software Engineer/ developer (02 Nos.) PPS-07 Rs.90,000/- per month
  • M.Sc./BS (Hots) in Computer Science or BE (Software) from HEC recognized University/ Institution
  • 05 years experience in database development/ Inventory Management System
  • Preferably in designing of a database scheme for inventory of instruments, & Misc. work.
4 Technician/ Research Assistant (01) PPS-06 Rs.60,000/- per month
  • At least B.Sc from HEC recognized University/ Institution
  • Candidate should know how to assist the scientist/engineer

  • The selection will be made purely on merit basis.
