Lift  Technician,elevator technician

Lift technicians are primarily responsible for all preventative maintenance and repair work on elevators and similar people-moving machinery

These technicians check wiring and parts for signs of wear, replace parts as needed, oil gears and test electrical systems to make sure the elevator unit is running efficiently.

Disassemble defective units, and repair or replace parts such as locks, gears, cables, and electric wiring.

*Install outer doors and door frames at elevator entrances on each floor of a structure.

*Locate malfunctions in brakes, motors, switches, and signal and control systems, using test equipment.

*Maintain log books that detail all repairs and checks performed.

Job Requirements

*Good physical strength and stamina.

*Valid transferable iqama.

*Must have 2 years experience.
