Career Opportunity

Position: Group Head Treasury & Investment Banking

Description: Bank of Khyber is seeking an exceptionally strong and goal-oriented professional to lead its Treasury & Investment Banking Group. This is an exciting opportunity to become a part of one of the premier financial institutions.

Eligibility Criteria:

Education: Minimum requirement is Graduation. Preference for a Master's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Economics, Actuarial Sciences, or a qualified Chartered Accountant. Degrees must be recognized by the HEC of Pakistan or have an equivalency certificate from HEC if obtained abroad.
Experience: Minimum 15 years of overall banking experience with at least 5 years in a senior level Treasury role. Candidates currently heading the overall Treasury function in a Bank are exempt from the specific experience criteria.
Age: Governed by the Bank's HR rules.
Compliance: Must meet the "Fit and Proper Test" criteria of the State Bank of Pakistan.

Main Duties / Responsibilities:

Contribute to the Bank's Mission and business plans by developing the overall strategy for the treasury function.
Manage all treasury business activities nationwide, ensuring compliance with internal and external regulatory guidelines.
Expand the Bank's Treasury business through various revenue streams, maintaining the Bank's prestige and image in the Interbank community.
Manage market risk on the Bank's Balance Sheet and investment portfolio to maximize yield, aligned with liquidity needs and asset/liability management strategies.
Ensure high productivity through motivation and teamwork, and develop the treasury team to meet long-term Bank strategies.
Perform any other Treasury-related tasks assigned by the CEO/Board.

Location: Karachi

Remuneration: Market-based package will be offered.
