Appointment of
Chairperson

Punjab Commission on the Status of Women is a special Institution of Women Development Department and has been established under PCSW Act, 2014. Applications for the post of Chairperson, Punjab Commission on the Status of Women are invited. Eligibility and Terms & Conditions of appointment are as under:-

Eligibility A Women having experience of more than 15 years of working on issues relating to women and their rights. ii)            Having domicile of the Punjab.
Nature of Appointment Contract
Period of contract 03 years
Termination of contract On one month's notice on either side or payment of one month's salary in lieu thereof
Salary package Rs.1,00,000/- per month
Transport One chauffer driven car 1300 CC maintained at Government ex•ense as er rules re•andin• BPS-21
TA/DA on domestic official tour As admissible to the Government Servants in BPS-21
TA/ DA on official Tour abroad As admissible to the Government Servants in BPS-21
Medical Facilities As per prevailing policy of Government of the Punjab for Government Servants in BS-21
Leave As per prevailing policy of Government of the Punjab for Government Servants in BS-21

  2. One Recent passport size photograph
  3. Attested letter / proofs of work experience for more than fifteen years of working on issues related to women and their rights.
  4. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview by the Search Committee.No TA/DA will be given for the interview.
  5. Applications should reach this Department till 30th September.2021.
  6. Applications that are incomplete or received after due date will not be entertained.
  7. Envelop should be properly sealed and clearly marked with "Application for the post of Chairperson, PCSW"
