Lahore: On Tuesday, a 27 years old Information Technology student committed suicide by shooting himself over unidentified reasons in the Ghalib Market police area.
The dead was identified as Noman, an inhabitant of Akram Park Ghalib Market.

On incident day, only Noman was present at home whereas his family members went to see their relatives.
The police of the area received a radio message regarding this incident and reached the location, where some residents told the police that they heard a sound of fire, which created fear among the local residents.
The police reached the location and broke into the house and recovered the dead body of Noman.
According to the police it looked like that the young man committed suicide by shooting himself in his head whereas the other factors were being inspected.

The police of that area also recovered a pistol and collected incidental evidence from the spot and sent it to the forensic lab.
According to the police officials, the actual cause of death could be found out after a postmortem report and further inquiry.
