The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Lahore organized a programme in the memory of martyrs of Army Public School, Peshawar. The special were also offered for the martyrs; furthermore, the candlelit wake as well as one-minute silence was observed to show the harmony along with the martyred aspirants and the staff of the Army Public School (APS), Peshawar.

Prof Dr Talat Naseer pasha was the chief guest on the event whereas the large number of aspirants, faculty members and the staff were also present on the occasion. While addressing on the occasion, Dr Talat Naseer Pasha said that utmost sacrifices of the martyrs of APS Peshawar tragedy will always be remembered and the nation was determined to root out the danger of terrorism from the state. He also said that the whole nation is standing along with the Army Public School martyrs and all of them were raising slogan to create peace and make Pakistan a well-developed state and promote education. Earlier in the morning, Quran Khawani and prayers were organized in the mosque of the university.
