UVAS organized workshop on research methods

The Department of Statistics & Computer Sciences of University of Veterinary and Animals Sciences (UVAS), Lahore in association along with the Jackson State University and Higher Education Commission (HEC) organized a 5-day workshop named as “Research methodologies Using Statistical Techniques in Biological Sciences” Yesterday.

The Dean of Faculty of Life Sciences as well as Business Management Prof Dr Nasim Ahmad led the inaugural session of the workshop where as the head of Department of Statistics & Computer Sciences Dr Muhammad Azam, Muhammad Bilal as well as the large number of partakers was present on the occasion. Dr Anwar Ahmad from Jackson State University United States of America (USA) was the guest of honor. 

During his address on the occasion, Prof Dr Nasim Ahmad described the main objectives of the workshop.

He said that the workshop is organized to deliver the demanding five days training in experimental designs, data collection as well as analysis practices, statistical software training, interpretation of verdicts, manuscript development as well as the grant writing.
