University of Sargodha falls in ‘W’ category of HEC

Islamabad: According to the press release issued by Higher Education Commission on Wednesday, University of Sargodha has accomplished all the objectives in the action plan of Higher Education Commission (HEC) for 2015-2016, like the previous two academic years since 2013.

According to the results of academic year 2015/16 announced by the Higher Education commission Quality Assurance Agency, the University has maintained its rating by getting 89.17% marks and obtaining the highest ‘W’ category position.

University of Sargodha has been in 'W' category since academic year 2013-14.

This judgement has been done on the basis of a comprehensive criteria set by the Quality Assurance Agency of HEC, including the academic programs, international conferences and seminars, number of PhD faculty, exams system, student registration and evaluation, research output and publications in peer-review national as well as international journals, relations between academia and industry, and academic relationships.
