Lahore: University of Health Sciences, Lahore (UHS) has issued the MCAT syllabus for academic year 2016. All those aspirants who are desirous to appear in MCAT entry test this year are advised to check this syllabus for better preparation of their test. MCAT test 2016 is expected to be held in August.
University of Health Sciences is responsible for conducting MCAT test in Punjab. MCAT test is mainly held for admissions in affiliated medical universities and colleges.

The MCAT entrance test comprises of total 220 Multiple Choice Questions from four major subjects that includes Physics, Chemistry, English and Biology. The paper divided in to four parts in which first is the physics section that includes 44 MCQs, second is the Chemistry section that includes 58 MCQs, third is the English section that includes 30 MCQs while the fourth and last section is of Biology that includes 88 MCQs.
During MCAT test students are given two and half hours to attempt the entire paper. The complete MCAT paper is of 1100 Marks. 5 marks will be given for five correct answers whereas one mark will be deducted from the total score on each incorrect answer.
