UET organizes Third Industrial Open House and Career Fair 2017

Lahore: University of Engineering and Technology organized its Third Industrial Open House and Career Fair 2017 (IOH&CF’17).

While conversing at the inaugural ceremony, the vice chancellor of University of Engineering and Technology Prof Dr Fazal Ahmad Khalid said a strong relationship between academia and industry can guarantee the progress and prosperity of the state.

He said that the collective efforts can provide relief to the country from various crises and it will also be advantageous for the youth which was considered largest asset for a nation.

This job fair had 8 themes comprising of Manufacturing Industry, Services Industry, Computers and Electronics, Construction, Oil Gas and Natural Resources, Chemical, Process Industry, Energy and Environment.

Convener IOH&CF’17 Prof Dr Pervaiz Mughal said over 75 companies attended the fair and conducted interviews of the final year students.
