UET Notifies The Undergraduate Admission Policy 2020

The University of Engineering and Technology has announced the admission policy 2020. This year the university decided to change the UET admission policy 2020 and the concerned people can check the revised policy to get to know about the calculation of the merit. For Intermediate Stream

1. Entrance test percentage marks: 30%
2. Matric percentage marks: 25%
3. First-year percentage marks: 45%

For The Diploma Of Associate Engineering Stream (DAE)

1. Entrance test percentage marks: 30 %
2. Intermediate percentage marks: 70%

For Engineering Technology and Equivalent Degree Stream

1. Entrance test percentage marks: 30%
2. 7th-semester CGPA, if the degree is not completed: 70%

For Foreign Qualification

1. Entrance test percentage marks: 30%
2. Percentage of marks obtained in 11th class: 70%

Important Notes To Consider

1. If the candidate has completed the intermediate degree/equivalent qualification then the result of part 1 will be used for the computation of aggregate.
2. For foreign qualification, a letter grade will be converted into marks according to IBBC formula. After admission IBBC certificate is needed to be submitted by the candidates.
3. For BSC Engineering technology the parameter of CGPA is as follows

1. CGPA 2.5/4.0 is equivalent to 60%
2. CGPA 4.0/4.0 is equivalent to 90%

4. The application must have at least 50% of aggregate marks.

Conditions For Admission

The following conditions will be applied as the admissions are offered before the announcement of the FSC part II result.

1. The candidates that remain unable to achieve 60% marks or above in Intermediate, DAE, BSC Engineering technology will not get admission in any of the mentioned categories. Their dues will be reimbursed without any deduction.
2. The A level candidates that could not be able to score Ç grade in physics/chemistry/biology and mathematics will be canceled and dues will be compensated without deduction.
