The ride hailing behemoth Uber will now provide its services in two new cities. From today the travelers in Islamabad and Rawalpindi can avail the uberGo services after downloading app of UBER.

A statement on Uber blog reads that: “We are really happy to announce that uberGO is now available in Islamabad, connecting the twin cities of Pakistan to safe, reliable, as well as reasonable rides.”

The most interesting thing is that Uber is celebrating the launch by providing its services free of cost in the twin cities over the weekend.

“To celebrate our newest city, you can enjoy Uber ride totally free for this weekend (from April 27th to 30th). Enter the promo code ‘UBERLOVESISB’ to enjoy the five free rides up to Rs 250 each ride.”

The blog of Uber also contains a list of fares for famous destinations across the twin cities to give travelers an idea of how much the service will cost.

So for example a trip from Islamabad Heights to F-6 Markaz will cost approximately Rs 220 and likewise a trip from F-11 to Centauras Mall will cost almost Rs 190.

Uber, which started its service earlier in 2009, is now available in more than 450 cities in more than 75 countries covering six continents.

The Uber in Pakistani market was launched in 2015 and was an instant success.
