The Government Announces Scholarship Program For School Students

The federal government has announced a quarterly stipend for primary school students from the next year. Many students will benefit from this scholarship program. Dr. Sania Nishtar, Prime Minister's Special Assistant has said that the Waseela-e-Taleem program will be expanded across the country and approximately four million primary school students will be granted scholarships. She made this announcement while visiting Islamabad Model School for Girls and Mubeen Shah Model School for Boys at Jhangi Syedan. According to the waseela-e-taleem program, the stipend for girls will be 2,000 rupees per quarter whereas the stipend for boys will be 1,500 rupees per quarter. 

Rahmatul-Lil-Alameen Scholarship

The Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar introduces Rahmatul-Lil-Alameen scholarship for the matric students. The initial grant for this scholarship has a worth of Rs 50 Crore that will be increased next year. About scholarship distribution under this program, he said that the Punjab government would grant half scholarships to the position holders. While the other half would be provided to the needy and deserved matric students so that they can continue their studies without facing any financial issues. 

Ehsaas Undergraduate Scholarship

Dr. Sania Nishtar also mentioned that Ehsaas undergraduate scholarship is one of the best opportunities for students who cannot bear their academic expenses. By availing this scholarship the students can cover 100% tuition fee and provided with the living monthly stipend throughout their degree program. Undergraduate students with family income less than 45,000 rupees per month are eligible to apply. The scholarship program is for the students of 125 public sector universities across Pakistan for the academic year 2020-21. The HEC has extended the last date of application submission on the online portal till the 30th of this month. So the undergraduate students are encouraged to apply to this scholarship program.
