The Federal Government is asking for suggestions form the provinces for schools reopening from mid of July to mid of August. The provisional government and their respective education ministries are advised to send their suggestions by June 23rd regarding school reopening decisions. However, the final decision would be taken on behalf of these suggestions and it would be declared on July 2nd, 2020.
Expectations By the Federal Ministry
It is suggested by the federal ministry of education and professional training that schools must be reopened anytime between mid of July and mid of August. It has also been suggested that only on the trail bases the schools would be reopened in Islamabad in the first phase.Govt also start Online Classes for Students.
Schools will be reopened after ensuring the safety of the students as well as teachers. However, the SOPs will be strictly observed for schools reopening decisions.
In order to ensure complete safety, the ministry is also getting suggestions regarding new and improved SOPs. All these issues will be discussed during the meeting and the final decision would be declared on July 2nd, 2020. The Government of Sindh is not being satisfied with the decision of reopening schools.
