Lahore: The City School organized a ceremony at its Shalamar Campus to honour its toppers in A-level exams.
Over 90 aspirants of the City School had secured more than 90% marks in A-level exams.
The award distribution ceremony organized by the school was attended by aspirants, teachers as well as Regional Manager of The City School Irum Yousuf.
While speaking on the event, Areej Rashid, a student who obtained 7 A*s as well as 1 A, said that she wished to make her parents proud as well as happy.
She added that:
"For this reason I worked really hard and now my dream has come true".
"Moreover, efforts of my parents and also the efforts of teachers were the actual reason behind my success."
Another aspirant Muhammad Bin Awais said, "Good grades matter however good concept also matters."
He also gave the credit of his success to his parents as well as his teachers.
"I used WhatsApp, Facebook, Viber as well as the other social media tools for learning and also for the preparation of exams," he added.
Ayesha Latif said that the tireless efforts of her parents raised her confidence.
"I want to make my parents proud just because of me," she said.
Another aspirant Saad said that he used to get schooling from tuition centres, away from the school, which assisted him a lot in getting good grades.
"My teachers always used to say me that I can accomplish whatever I want."
Regional Director of The City School Irum Yousuf advised the aspirants to come back to Pakistan after studying abroad and serve their country.
She appreciated the efforts of schoolteachers as well as the efforts of heads and asked them to arrange the ceremonies to honour their high achievers.
