TEVTA Launches Various Skill Programs For Youth

The technical education and vocational training authority KPK has launched the various skill programs for the youth. This initiative is taken to facilitate the youth of the KPK and the tribal districts so that they can play a significant role in the development of the country. The main purpose is to bring the students forward and prepare them in such way that they can compete at the international level. Several new employment opportunities will be created to emancipate the youth and make then independent. Industries, commerce and technical education department KPK has initiated a Special Emphasis Progarm (SEP) for youth.

Establishment of Polytechnic Institutes

For this purpose the several polytechnic institutes will be constructed in the tribal areas such as Orakazi, Miranshah and Darra Adam Khel. It has been announced by the authorities that these educational facilities will be completed soon. Moreover the deficiency of the staff members in the existing centers will be overcome by providing the trainers that can teach the students properly. The necessary training will be provided to the teaching staff under the accelerated implementation program.

Female Vocational Centers

Currently female vocational centers are working Bajaur and the government is determined to establish the center for the female in all the districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhawa. The Polytechnic institutes provide the technical and the vocational training to the candidates in the various fields such as electrical, mechanical, civil and telecom. This type of training will allow the students to start their own setups and open new employment pathways for them.
