Swat, University of Swat is going to organize a 3rd Academic Expo 2014 on May 27, 28 and 29, 2014. University of Swat was came into being in 2010 in the valley of Swat. There are various fields and programs in which the university is catering education. These fields are biological, social, numerical and management sciences and information technology to BS, MS and PhD. The University is devoted to provide education for all and focuses on the provision of quality education.
The Academic Expo will provide a platform of skills exhibition of the students. the event will expand the mutual understanding and collaboration among the other universities of Pakistan.
University of Swat has issued the roll number slips to students for appearing in BA/BSc Annual Examination 2014. Respective private candidates must contact their nearest post office to collect their roll number slips whereas regular students can receive the roll number slips from their respective institution.
On May 29th , 2010 the Prime Minister of Pakistan, visited swat and announced the establishment of university of swat. The university came into formal existence at dated 07/07/2010 by the Honorable Governor. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mr.Awais Ahmad Ghani with the prior approval of the President of Pakistan. Its first Vice Chancellor Dr. Muhammad Farooq Khan (Shaheed) was appointed on 23/08/2010. The Higher Education Department (HED) handed over two buildings to the university located at saidu sharif swat.
