Student receives study scholarship as CM hears complaints on Facebook

CM of Punjab Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif on Monday convoked an interactive session on his Facebook official page in which he listened and pay attention to the complaints of the followers and also certified them of resolving their issues as soon as possible. Though, these promises were not only fake promises because one of the students certified in the comments section of the page after that in a very that his issue had now been resolved.

One of the fans on the Facebook official page of Shahbaz Sharif, Umair Aslam Shah, commented on the page claiming that his father is an employee in the Social Security department while he is impotent to get his scholarship. Thus, he said that he was unable to carry on his further studies. Shahbaz Sharif said that he had completely inquired that issue and the complaint was undoubtedly genuine. He said that the cheque has now been hand over to Umair Aslam now.

Ratifying the words of chief minister almost instantaneously, Umair Aslam Shah commented in the comments box of the video that he has received his scholarship of the total amount of almost Rs. 180,930. In his comment Umair said that “Sir, you gave me my Eidi”. He also said that I really thanked to CM from the core of my heart.

On the other hand, another follower from Bhakkar named as Ikram Sadiq Sial complained regarding a ghost school in his region. In the answer of this complaint CM of Punjab said that he had taken a strong action against the ghost schools during his government earlier in 1998. He said that he had also got that complaint inquired and it proved to be correct. CM said that “I was shocked to know that in spite of all the efforts that we have made as well as the education department has made, these types of schools still exist. It is a harmful situation for all of us”. He also said that the aspirants have started receiving education here currently as well as it is no more a ghost school. He also appreciated his fan named as Ikram Sadiq, who was quick to acknowledge him back as the ghost school that he had stated had been made serviceable due to his complaint.

CM also underlined the other messages as well as the comments that he received on his page and just not resolved the issues of the people however also answered the questions that were asked by his fans. He claimed that he always tried to listen to the people and is currently utilizing the social media for getting feedback from the public. He also give assurance that this session will be a regular feature hereafter.
