Student dies after being hit by Sindh University bus on campus

Hyderabad: A female student of Sindh University, Jamshoro, succumbed to injuries hours after she was hit by a university bus on campus on Thursday.

Shaista Memon, a final-year-student of the physics department, was hit by a bus privately hired by the university at the Zero Point location of the university.

She was rushed to Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences (LUMHS) Jamshoro where she underwent a surgery however could not survive.

The family members of the victims and the aspirants of Sindh University are staging a sit-in outside LUMHS where they are protest against the transport administration of varsity.
