Sindh Rangers Starts Hiring Process for Various Vacant Positions in Department

The headquarters Pakistan Rangers Sindh has now started the recruitment process of the applicants who submitted their applications for various vacant positions. These vacant positions for the year 2020 were announced in February through the advertisement published in provincial and local newspapers however the recruitment process was delayed because of the covid-19 pandemic in the country. Though, the respective department has now announced to start hiring process again according to the given schedule.

Position: Sub Inspector General duty (Direct Entry)

• Eligibility Criteria: FA/FSC or equivalent

Position: Khateeb (Direct entry)

Position:  Hawaldar General Duty (Direct entry)

The Sindh rangers department has also allocated a specific quota for the recruitment process for each province. The details regarding allocation of quota are as follows:

• Open Merit: 7.5%

• Punjab: 50%

• Sindh (rural area): 11.4%

• Sindh (urban area): 7.6%

• Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 11.5%

• Balochistan: 6%

• Gilgit-Baltistan: 4%

• Azad Jammu and Kashmir: 2%  

Physical Requirements:

Height at least 5’6”

Chest 33” inches

Weight at least 121 Pound

Initial and Final Medical Check-up

Selection Process:

• Initial Registration: 200/- Rs Registration Fee

• Initial Medical Examination: No fee will be taken during initial medical test

• Physical Test: Candidates are required to bring Jogers or PT shoes with them for test

• Written Test: Candidates can bring their own writing items along with them

• Interviews/Final Selection: Final selection will be done as per the eligibility at Headquarters Pakistan Rangers (Sindh)

• Final Medical Check-Up: Final Medical Check-up will be done at Sindh Rangers Hospital

• Call Letter: Call letter will be issued to selected candidates

• Training: the training of selected applicants will be done at Pakistan Rangers Training Centre
