Due to the rapid increase of the Covid-19 pandemic across the province, the government of Sindh had decided to postpone all the educational activities and examination sessions of matric and intermediate classes were delayed. But, now the education minister of Sindh has announced the new schedule for matric and intermediate classes.
Examination Schedule of Matric and Intermediate Classes
The education minister of Sindh, Saeed Ghani during his press conference in Karachi said that the examination session of matric class including the 9th and 10th class will start from June 15th and the examination session will last until 15 days.
The matric class result will be announced on August 15th, 2020. The examination session of intermediate classes including 11th and 12th classes will be started from July 6th, 2020. However, on September 15th, 2020 the result of 11th and 12th classes will be announced.
Admission Schedule of Matric And Intermediate Classes
The education minister, Saeed Ghani also said that the education session or year of matric class will start from 1st of June rather than 1st of April and the education year of intermediate classes will start from 1st of August. He further said that if the circumstances would not be under control due to the Covid-19 pandemic then further changes may also come to see.
From July 15th, 2020 the admission session of the 11th class will be started and students will be offered admission on the 9th class result base. He said that all the schools will reopen from Junes 1st, 2020. The examination session of 1st to 8th class will be scheduled from 1st to 15th June and students will be provided the complete schedule before starting their exams. At the end of his speech, Saeed Ghani addressed all other provinces and education ministries to remain the schools close until May 31st, 2020 to contain the spread of Covid-19 and to ensure the health safety of the students and other citizens.
