Saudi Arabia promises International Islamic University scholarships

The Saudi Arabian government as well as the International Islamic University, Islamabad has agreed on the exchange of educational delegations.

Above and beyond, the Saudi government has also certified the International Islamic University about the educational scholarships for its aspirants.

The agreement came during the meeting of the International Islamic University president Dr. Ahmed Yousif Al-Draiweesh and Saudi education minister Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Issa at his office.

During the meeting, the matters of interest as well as of cooperation between International Islamic University and Saudi educational institutions were discussed.

Both sides agreed on the exchange of educational delegations, while the Saudi minister assured of cooperation to the IIU in scholarships.

Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Issa praised International Slamic University by claiming that the university is playing an impressive role for the enhancement in the education.  He said that International Islamic University was serving the Muslim Ummah as the main educational institute.

On the event, Dr. Al-Draiweesh informed the Saudi minister regarding the upcoming conferences of the university, seminars as well as workshops, above and beyond the attainments as well as the future plans.

At the same time, the three member Malaysian delegation comprising of the Professor Mashkuri Yaacob, Dr. Sheroz Khan as well as Professor Sulaiman Wadi Harun visited the Faculty of Engineering of International Islamic University.
