Lahore: The government of Punjab has imposed a ban on the sale of energy drinks and cold drinks in all the educational institutes from August 14th, 2017.

The phosphoric acid and caffeine present in carbonated cola and energy drinks are injurious to the growth of children and especially dangerous for their bones. That’s why the government of Punjab has strictly imposed a ban on selling carbonated cola and energy drinks in all the government and private sector schools, colleges, universities, private academies and coaching centres.
Strict action will be taken by the Punjab food authority against all those who will not follow the orders.
