Lahore: On Thursday chief Minister of Punjab Mian Muhammad Shahabaz Sharif has ordered to prepare achievability report on the installation of ropeways transport system at as many as three localities in Lahore, a private news channel reported.

While presiding over a meeting in Lahore, Chief Minister Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif said that international firm has expressed interest to work on this project along with the government of Punjab after which the officials have been given green signal to begin paper work on this project.

The areas to be facilitated along with the ropeways transport will be from Imamia Colony to Railway Station, Jehangir Tomb to Greater Iqbal Park, Jalo Mor to Thokar Niaz Baig as well as one from Islamabad to Murree.

This meeting was also attended by the provincial ministers Chaudhry Sher Ali, Mujtaba Shuja-ur-Rehman, transport and environment secretaries, Managing Director of Punjab Mass transit Authority as well as Commissioner of Lahore Abdullah Sumbal.
