The Law graduate assessment law gat test 2022 is going to be held on 23 October 2022. This test is conducted by HEC (Higher Education Commission). For all LLB graduates who want to apply for Bar Council Registration, the Law Graduate Assessment Test is required. Applicants are advised to submit their application form till October 3, 2022. The form can be submitted online by the HEC portal. 

The GAT test will consist of multiple choice questions. Those applicants who have registered through the HEC online registration process will be able to download their roll number slips from http://etc.hec.gov.pk. The roll number slips will be available before one week of test. The email will be sent to students containing the test date, time and venue.

Eligibility Criteria of LAW GAT 2022

Those candidates who have passed their Bachelor’s degree from a reputable institute in the law or the equivalent can apply for the test.

LAW GAT Examination Centers

The HEC Law test will be conducted in the following centers.

Islamabad Lahore  Karachi
Sukkur  Abbottabad Quetta 
Multan Hyderabad Turbat
Bahawalpur Peshawar Muzaffarabad
Faisalabad Gilgit  

1. Applicants can select any test Centre from the list available in the application form.

2. Test will only be held on any of the above Centers if a minimum of 250 applicants will select that Centre.

3. After registering, the test center cannot be changed.

How to Register for the LAW GAT Test 2022

Here we have mentioned the law gat registration procedure for your convenience.

1. For the registration process, visit the link http://etc.hec.gov.pk

2. In case of any issue, you can visit the link etc@hec .gov.pk or visit the HEC Secretariat or HEC Regional Centers for guidance.

3. Complete your profile using the "My Profile" section, and then submit your application by clicking the "Law GAT Test" link in the menu panel on the web portal's left sidebar.

4. Applications in SAVE or SUBMITTED form will only be considered for the LAW-GAT Test.

5. The INCOMPLETE mode won't be taken into consideration.

6. A test fee of Rs. 3000/- is to be deposited Online/ATM in Account No. O 1127900567403 in Habib bank limited with account title HEC. The branch code is 0112.

7. In order to submit their application, applicants must attach a completed, paid, and scanned copy of a challan form that has been officially stamped by any HBL branch.

Other Requirements / Conditions

1. The Law Graduate Assessment Test (Law-GAT) must be passed with a score of at least 50% marks. 

2. Candidates must also meet the other requirements outlined in the PBC Rules and Regulations.

3. A maximum of three attempts are allowed for applicants to pass the Law-GAT exam. The test will be given three times a year by HEC.

Note:

Candidates must enter a valid email address or when completing the online mobile number application. To attend the test center, you will need a printout of your roll number slip and your original CNIC.
