The online registration procedure for 5 and for 8th class annual exams 2016 will continue till 16th November 2015 and up to now 2.04 million candidates have been registered for appearing in these exams.

It was announced by the chairman of by Punjab IT Board (PITB) Dr Umar Saif during his address on Tuesday in a meeting. Dr Umar Saif said that 2.04 million applications had been processed consisting of 51,000 applications from the private sector schools against the target of last year 2.3 million for the Punjab Examinations Commission (PEC) annual exams.

He said the registration procedure had been facilitated by the Schools Education Department by creating clusters at main schools in the zone crosswise the Punjab. The representatives of the schools collect forms from their aspirants and submit to the near registration cluster where it is come into the main dash board regulated by the Punjab IT Board.

Dr Saif said that the private schools or individual aspirants looking for the registration might also contact that bunch together with filled in registration form and National Identity Card of the father, mother or of the guardian. He moreover said that “The online registration saves time, lessens the massive work load and mistakes in the data and lessen the hectic procedure of conducting exams”.
