Quaid-e-Azam University Announces Admissions For Spring Semester 2021

Quaid-e-Azam University has announced admissions for MS/M.Phil and Ph.D. degree programs for spring semester 2021. Applications are invited from Pakistani/foreign nationals in the various disciplines. The candidates can apply in the different faculties such as the Faculty of Biological Sciences (Biochemistry, Microbiology, Bioinformatics, Plant Sciences, Pharmacy, Zoology, and Biotechnology), Faculty of Natural Sciences (Chemistry, Computer Sciences, Earth Sciences, Electronics, Mathematics, Physics, and Statistics), and Faculty of Social Sciences ( Economics, History, Sociology, Management Sciences, Anthropology, and International Relations).

Application Procedure

• The candidates can apply through the online application system of the university.
• The applicants have to submit the application processing fee of Rs. 2115/- in any branch of Habib bank limited or Rs.2100/- in Askari bank limited.
• Along with the application form, the candidates are required to upload scanned copies of the requisite documents such as academic certificates, CNIC/B-form, and domicile. 
• The paid fee challan and the scanned copies of documents must be submitted otherwise the application form of the candidates will not be entertained. 

Selection Procedure

• The admission to the Ph.D. program will be determined on the basis of the previous academic qualification, written test, and interview.
• The passing marks of the test are 70% and the candidates must secure the marks according to the passing criteria in order to appear in the interview. 
• After the selection procedure, the merit list of the short listed candidates will be issued and they have to submit the semester fee. 
• For admission in the MS/M.Phil program the merit will be based on the marks obtained in the previous qualification, a written test of the subject, and interview. 
• No separate letters will be issued to call the candidates for the interview. 
• The department/institute will be an issue the schedule for the interview and then the merit list will be displayed for the candidates.

The last date to apply for the MS/M.Phil and Ph.D. admissions in the Quaid-e-Azam University is 8th February 2021.
