Punjab University Issues The Schedule Of Online Classes

Punjab University has proclaimed the schedule of the online classes for the bachelors and masters programs. On the directions of the government, the educational institutes across the country remain closed from 26th November 2020 due to the second wave of the coronavirus. As per the directives issued by the higher education commission the duration of winter break was from 25th December 2020 to 10th January 2021. According to the schedule, the university has announced to resume the online classes from 11th January 2021. However, the University of Punjab will be reopened for the physical classes from 1st February 2021, till then the students have to attend the online classes to cover their coursework. 

Reopening Schedule of University

The teaching and the non-teaching staff of the Punjab university will attend their respective departments/centers/institutes/colleges and the administrative offices from 11th January 2021. While opening the institutions the respective heads of the teaching as well as the non-teaching departments will ensure the strict implementation of SOPs devised by the government to be protected from COVID-19. 

Submission of Fee

The university has also issued the fee schedule of the bachelor's and master’s degree programs. It is notified to the candidates to collect the fee challan from their respective departments and to submit the semester fee according to the dates mentioned against their semesters. Due to the COVID-19 strict compliance with the date is required from the students. The schedule of the fee submission is as follow

Important Note

After the last date, per day fine will be charged from the students. The student who does not deposit the fee till the specified last date will not be considered eligible for any scholarship and concession from the university. It is informed the candidates that due to the COVID-19 pandemic the different dates are specified for each semester so please follow the standard operating procedures and deposit the fee challan in the bank within the prescribed date.
