Punjab University issues date sheets of various exams

Lahore, Punjab University Examinations Department has issued written date sheets for the various exams. In this regard date sheets has been issued for Second Semester Examination, 2012 of BS 4 Years Program, Fourth Semester Examination, 2012 of BS 4 Years Program, B.Com Part-I and II, 2nd annual examination 2012, First Year BS in Computer Science 2nd annual examination 2011 & 1st annual examination 2012, Second Year BS in Computer Sciences 2nd annual examination 2011 & 1st annual examination 2012, Third Year BS in Computer Science 2nd annual examination 2011 & 1st annual examination 2012, Fourth Year BS in Computer Science 2nd annual examination 2011 & 1st annual examination 2012, First Year MSc I.T 2nd annual examination 2011 & 1st annual examination 2012 and Second Year MSc I.T 2nd annual examination 2011 and 1st annual examination 2012, . Punjab University Examination Department has also notified that the Practical Examination of B.Ed 2nd annual examination, 2011 & 1st annual examination, 2012 in the subject of Biology (A&B) which were scheduled on November 09, 2012 will now be held on November 16, 2012. It is important to mention here that groups, time and place will remain the same as already notified.

Punjab University Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran has hosted a lunch in the honour of Deputy Minister of International Relations and Co-operation of the Republic of South Africa Ebrahim Ismail Ebrahim at Executive Club on Wednesday.

First Secretary of South African High Commission Islamabad Mike Nelwamondo, Security Advisor Crosby Batyi, senior journalist Mujeeb ur Rehman Shami, Prof Dr Khan Raas Masood, Prof Dr Aurangzeb Alamgir, Prof Dr Mansoor Sarwar, Prof Dr Zakria Zakir, Tariq Majeed Qureshi, Prof Dr Umbreen Javed, Javed Sami, Isar Rana and others were present on the occasion.

 Addressing the meeting, PU VC Dr Mujahid Kamran said that South Africa had the best scientists and the first heart transplant was carried out. He said that Punjab University would enhance relations with South Asian universities.

Mr Ebrahim said that he had visited Pakistan to increase economic, political relations and enhance people to people contact. He said that unfortunately, South Africa’s relations with Pakistan were not at the level that it should be. He said that South Africa had independent foreign policy and we kept interest of African continent first. Later, PU VC presented gift of books to the delegates.
