Punjab University Announces to Waive off All Charges Except Tuition Fee For students

Punjab University has announced to give relaxation to the students in the matter of fee submission. The Vice Chancellor of University of the Punjab, Prof Niaz Ahmad has announced that the university will not charge any fee from students under some fee heads during this period of corona virus pandemic. 

In this regard, PU also issued a notification for the students:

The notification states that in exercise of power vested under Rule 7(II) of fee concession rules, approved by syndicate in its meeting dated on 25-05-2011, the vice chancellor of University of the Punjab is pleased to grant fee waiver in all other charges except tuition fee to the aspirants of University during this period.  The notification further states that the teaching departments of varsity are instructed to issue just tuition fee challan during this period.

Dr Niaz Ahmad durther stated that the university will continue its pro-student policies and will not charge any medical, transport, library, sports as well as hostel fee during the current situation.
