Punjab HEC Announces Funding For Conferences And International Travel Grants

PHEC on Monday announced via Twitter that the council is providing funding opportunities for International travel and organizing conferences & seminars. The International Travel Grant is a prestigious opportunity that is focused on the able-minded researchers who want to present their paper in any well-known conference or symposium being held in a foreign country. The paper that is to be presented by the researcher must be peer-reviewed and full-length research. Along with this travel grant, PHEC also announced that the council is providing funding to organize and host conferences and seminars in the institutions of Higher Education in the Province of Punjab.

Financial Coverage Provided By PHEC

1. For International Travel Grants:

PHEC is providing superb opportunities for the researchers to travel abroad and present their work in international events with full financial support. According to the policies of the Punjab Higher Education Council, the travel grant will provide the coverage for airfare and the registration fee of the event/symposium/seminar along with the accommodation charges. PHEC will also provide additional daily allowances as well for the recipients of the International Travel Grant.

2. For National Conferences and Seminars

Keeping in view the need to arrange and organize conferences and seminars, the PHEC is allowing the Higher Education Institutes of Punjab to organize events with the financial aid provided by the council. The financial coverage for these events will include the travel and accommodation expenses of all the speakers of the event. This travel and accommodation coverage will be applicable for both the national and international speakers. PHEC will also provide the expenses that will be used for presenting and printing publications. Grant for the National conferences and seminars will also cover the stationary expenses. The best thing about the conference funding by PHEC is that the rules of the council will also make the Institutes eligible to receive funds for unexpected expenses.
