Punjab govt to punish teachers with poor 5th, 8th class exams result

Lahore: Punjab Education Department on Tuesday has stated that teachers, head of departments, as well as the heads of class will be answerable if the passing ratio of aspirants gets lower than 33 percent in annual exams results.

Instead of aspirants, the government has decided to punish the teachers along with the poor exams results. The teachers along with less than 33% of passing ratio in exams results of 5th and 8th grade will be trapped and punished accordingly.

In this way, the responsible school heads as well as class teachers will be cornered and dealt-with strictly.

It is also possible that the responsible teachers will face deduction in increments and suspension of service for almost 2 years. In this respect, the provincial Education Department looks focused as the details have also been attained from each district.
