Lahore: The government of Punjab is executing a solid plan to ensure the security at schools across the province.

This statement was given during a meeting on Thursday to review the security arrangements at educational institutes.

This meeting was held at School Education Department (SED) and government officials reviewed the arrangements at both government and private sector institutes.

The Punjab School Education Minister Rana Mashhood, Lahore Mayor Mubashir Javed, Secretary of school Education Department Abdul Jabbar Shaheen, the Director of School Education Departement (Monitoring) Rana Abdul Qayyum, CEO (Education) of Lahore Tariq Raffique, SP Lahore Muhammad Naveed and representatives of government and private institutes attended the meeting.

During the meeting, Punjab Education Minister said that the Punjab government had been executing a comprehensive mechanism to provide institutional support to all institutes for their security.

Shaheen said all the heads of government as well as of private schools were ordered to ensure foolproof security of their institutes so that the management can handle an untoward situation.

Mashhood urged the school administrations to pay special attention to the monitoring of their schools via CCTV cameras.

He moreover ordered school representatives to ensure the security of all aspirants and teachers through the best possible arrangements and complete employment of SOPs issued by the Punjab government.
