Punjab Endowment Fund biggest scholarship program: CM Punjab

Lahore, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif said on Wednesday that the Punjab Educational Endowment Fund was the major educational scholarship program in such type in the world which aims to support poor but talented students.

The chief minister said that endowment fund had brought courage to the needy students. This project would deliver outstanding human resource and a confident leadership to the country. He said there is need to promote independence for evolution and growth. The way of history could be changed through a strong resolution and willpower. It was a difficult task but not impossible.
 
He expressed his views on a function about achievement of the target of distribution of educational scholarship of one billion rupees to needy students by Punjab Educational Endowment Fund at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat. He said that the Punjab government had given educational scholarships of about one billion rupees to more than 30,200 deserving boy and girl students from the endowment fund. He further said that the amount of the educational fund would be improved to 10 billion rupees during the next financial year.
