Lahore: The vice Chancellor of University of the Punjab Professor Dr Zafar Moeen Nasir said that the university will ensure admissions in all disciplines strictly on merit basis and provide maximum facilities to the students.

The vice chancellor of varsity was addressing the inauguration ceremony of admission stalls at the New Campus on Monday.

The chairperson of admission Committee Professor Dr Taqi Zahid Butt, chairperson of Stalls Committee Professor Dr Shahid Kamal, deans of different faculties, heads of departments, faculty members as well as the aspirants were present on the event.

While talking to the partakers, Dr Zafar Moeen Nasir said Punjab University was making fast improvement in all ranges and the complete admission procedure will be digitized.

 “We will accept online applications from the applicants to facilitate them.” He advised the teachers to pay full attention to the character-building of aspirants. He added that the management of Punjab University was providing an environment on campus to promote research, academic as well as healthy co-curricular activities.

Afterwards, the vice chancellor visited different stalls and look over arrangements.

The university of the Punjab has opened the admissions in BSc (Hons) BS, B.Ed, BBIT, BFA, B.Com, BBA, MA, M.Ed. MSc, MPA, MBA, MFA, M.Com (3.5 years), MIM, MIOM, MBSM Morning and Self-Supporting (Afternoon/Replica/Evening) programs for the academic session2017-2018.

Last date for the submission of admissions forms is September 28th, 2017.
