PU to start PGD in Institutional Management exams from Dec 24

Lahore, Punjab University Examination Department has notified that annual examination of Post Graduate Diploma in Institutional Management (Food-Services) will start from 24th December, 2012.

The Admission Forms and Fee will be received till Dec 17, 2012.

International Conference of Applied Psychology (ICAPP, 2012) was held on Saturday and on its second day; four pre-conference workshops were conduct at Center for Clinical Psychology, University of the Punjab, Lahore.

The morning session included two workshops, “Building Healthy Relationships” by Ms. Maryam Suheyl Umar; and” Behaviors and Attitudes for Promoting Women Leadership “by Dr. Anita Anis Allana and Dr. Nargis Asad.

In the afternoon session, Ms. Saima Salman presided over the workshop ‘The Art and Science of Rational Anger Management: Teaching your clients how to control their Anger before it controls them', and Prof. Dr. Jorg Huber conducted ‘Screening for depression and planning mental health interventions for people with diabetes'.
 
Participants and professionals stressed on the need for more such knowledgeable workshops. The inaugural ceremony of ICAPP 2012 will be held today at Faisal Auditorium at 9am. PU VC Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran will chair the workshop.

U Examinations Department has declared the results of MSc Mathematics, Part-I annual Exam 2012, MA Kashmiriat, Part-I annual exam 2012 and MA History, Part-II annual exam 2012.

Punjab University (PU) Examinations Department has announced Practical/Viva/Voce Date Sheet for the First year and Second Year BS in Computer Science 2nd Annual Examination 2011 and First Annual Examination 2012 and 3rd year BS in Computer Annual Examinations 2012 to be held in December 2012.

Punjab University College of Art and Design's Textile Department on Tuesday evening arranged a fantastic and appealing fashion show at Gosha-e Behzad-o Mani based on Islamic history and art of calligraphy in connection with PU's first-ever international moot on calligraphy titled “Sarir-e-Khama: Art of Pen”.
 
PU College of Art and Design Principal Prof Dr Rahat Naveed Masud, international delegates from United Kingdom, Turkey, Iran, various personalities from fine arts, Pakistani calligraphers and a large number of students were present on the occasion.
