PU Mathematics department organizes farewell party for outgoing students

Lahore: University of the Punjab Department of Mathematics arranged a farewell party in honor of the leaving aspirants of MSc Mathematics (Part-II) and BS Mathematics (8th Semester). The head of the Department of Mathematics Prof Dr Muhammad Sharif, faculty members as well as the large number of aspirants were present on the event.

During his address on the ceremony Dr Sharif express gratitude towards participants and said that leaving students would play their impressive role in the development of nation. He also expected that the departing aspirants will contribute in the intensification of homeland.

Furthermore, he admired the aspirants for the participation in extra-curriculum activities in concurrence along with their studies. After that, the head announced Dr Ghazala Akram as the best teacher and Mr Amjad Khan as the best worker of the Department during session 2014-2015 and also presented certificates along with Rs 25,000 and 15,000, respectively.
