PU Issues Important Instruction For Students Appearing in BA/BSc Online Annual Exams 2020

As we all know that Punjab University is going to organize Online BA/BSc and Associate degree programs annual exams 2020 in August. For this purpose the university has issued mandatory instruction for the aspirants to follow which are given below.

Instruction Issued by PU to Students for Online Exams

PU has uploaded the roll numbers slips of all the registered candidates of these above mentioned programs at the official website. The regular students of these programs who are going to appear in annual exams can get their roll number slips from their respective institutes while private candidates can get their roll number slips online.

Safe Exam Browser To Be Installed For Exam

The university have send the email to all those aspirants who have uploaded their data including (Gmail Address, Phone no and Whatsapp No). The forwarded email also contains a link for Safe Exams Browser (SEB). The candidates are required to download and install this browser on their computers.

For online exams, the candidate’s laptop / desktop Computer must possesses updated version of windows 8.1 or windows 10 so that the candidates will not face any difficulty while installing the specified browser. Besides, good internet, the laptop or PC must be attached with good quality camera and headphone. Moreover, no one other than the student should be present in the room where the exam is to be held.

Mock Exam To Be Conducted By PU

The link for Mock/Demo is available at the end of the email that has been sent to the students. Enter the SEB by given your login details i-e (Login and Password) after clicking on this link. It is mandatory for all the aspirants to take this mock test so that no student should face any difficulty while attempting the actual paper on exam day.The meeting link and paper will be sent to the candidates on exam day.

During Exam Instructions For students

During exam, no app other than SEB will be run on the computer. The candidates will be required to review their room to the proctor through webcam before the paper begins and also will be required to the follow the proctor’s instructions. The proctor will be constantly watching the students through camera and the student’s video recording will be done during the entire exam.
